One potential improvement to the editor is having the "Edit" and "Preview" tabs locked on top and always visible. When editing long articles, I have to scroll back and forth every time I want to see how the new section looks.

In the preview, the video looks broken. But I don't know what it will look like after publishing. I'm not there yet =)

How do I add multiple authors in my blog?
Also, is there a way to share an editable link with co-authors?

one thing would be great if I can add posts to collections, and \or pin posts to a collection.. would be a good way to keep logically related content accessible

In the blog explorers org, it shows me that join request is sent (see below screenshot). Am I even a part of this org? If not, then how am I able to write any blogs?

I thought this was just me. This happened to me as well. I honestly thought that perhaps it was because some of my blog articles were not academic or pure research oriented enough. I promise to only post research related articles if allowed to again. I have a lot of research.

not an issue but here is some feedback:

• can we add a button somewhere to save blog posts in collections (I love rereading some blog posts since they have some interesting info)
• we should move the content table to the far left to stop it from shadowing the writing?
• also why do we have a button for this, can we make it open 24/7?
• I think the content table was scrolling down with me before, not sure why this feature was disabled

@not-lain iframes aren't supported in discussions and community articles, for security reasons, to prevent XSS & co

@akjindal53244 Your Llama Storm model? Interesting that we are able to move the benchmarks so much with simple fine tuning. I mean, they're simple prediction models, afterall. It does not really compute with that narrative that you could get such gains simply from fine tuning on more 'educational' data.

Hello ! I think that there is a formatting issue for recent articles (no formatting on the published article even if the formatting is correct in the preview), e.g. https://huggingface.co/blog/PHBJT/french-parler-tts or https://huggingface.co/blog/OzzyGT/diffusers-image-fill . You might wanna check if something is wrong on your side.
(The formatting of articles was working fine this morning)

@kamalraja1 None of the people you tagged work at HF, so none of us can accept your request. Also, you'll find that adding "please" before an imperative verb might make it more conducive for people to help you.

Would anyone, please, comment if you're planning to support the usual $...$ for inline LaTeX expressions? That would be great, as that's fairly standard inside Markdown (I think), and having to replace all $...$ with \( is an extra step that inline $ support would eliminate. Thank you.

The article feature is fantastic! I just posted a new community article (https://huggingface.co/blog/fsommers/document-similarity-colpali), but not sure where it shows on the site? If someone can kindly explain this, it'd be greatly appreciated. I'd like to use this for more blogs and articles. My only feedback on the editing experience is as in the above post, and also if the LaTeX sections could render with a little smaller / more compact style, that'd be nice. Otherwise, this is an awesome feature of the HF site.

Cool! Would it be possible to require the co-authors to approve being added to the blog post, as someone they follow might add them to a blog post without their permission?

For now we're hoping the follow requirement will be enough, but if it becomes an issue then we'll definitely consider adding a mechanism for coauthors to approve.

Would it be possible to allow a co-author to manually remove themselves from an article?

It'd be great to be able to draft more than one article at the same time. Clicking "create new" when you have an unpublished article reopens it instead.
Also, I'd rather have the "edit/preview" buttons to be with the fixed header. Otherwise, to switch between the 2 views, one always needs to scroll back to top.
Those are 2 inconveniences if you want people to draft articles on the hub and not offline. Happy to read what you think.

I've had one of my posts removed without notice as well. That's the problem with censorship, it's always arguable and up to unseen moderators who don't even have to justify themselves.

It's Hugging Face's turf, so they make the rules if we post here, but invisible censorship definitely is the worst kind. At least notify and give us a chance to rectify an issue if you have to police the platform that hard.

Still, it's a very slippery slope. If they start censoring the blog, what about all the models that have much more questionable (legally or ethically) content? Once those who like to censor start to cleanse this site, the platform would lose its unique position and appeal as a central hub for all things AI.

Hi 👋 @hexgrad @wolfram thanks for the feedback! 🤗 It would definitely be useful to have a way to notify users for these kinds of things, so we're exploring some solutions there (and also getting feedback for reported content would be good etc)

For @wolfram he already has made efforts to adjust the content in his blogs to more closely fit the blog-explorers guidelines which is awesome, and we really appreciate his latest ones! 🔥 (And you bring up a good point about more sensitive content elsewhere on the HF Hub; I think we're aiming to keep blogposts a bit more professional, like a similar tone to stuff you might find on arxiv, if that helps)

As for @hexgrad , like @akkasayaz mentions, the blogpost wasn't quite what we were looking for (quite short and didn't really deliver much information), I would highly recommend checking out blogposts from @AmelieSchreiber for some examples of good blogposts.

In any case we'll start using less extreme methods for blogs that aren't quite complete rather than just deleting them, to give the community a chance to improve them. Let us know what you think!

I understand, and I can definitely increase the depth and technicality of my blog posts / Articles. To be honest, I had originally thought Articles were meant to be more casual and address a wider audience (including non-technical folks), with the technical stuff being left for Papers. However, after reading some other Articles, I agree that mine comparatively lacks substance, which should (hopefully) be an easy thing for me to fix moving forward.
