SPEC-MATH-7B
🚨 Currently this model primarily supports English. Multilingual versions coming soon!
Introduction
At SVECTOR, we have spent the past year conducting extensive research to enhance the mathematical reasoning capabilities of large language models. Our focus has been on developing models that excel at solving complex arithmetic and mathematical problems. Today, we are proud to introduce our specialized mathematical language model series: SPEC-MATH and SPEC-MATH-Instruct-7B/80B. SPEC-MATH represents a breakthrough in mathematical language modeling, built on advanced architecture that demonstrates superior performance compared to both open-source and closed-source alternatives.
Among our model series, we are making SPEC-MATH-7B available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.0 (CC BY-NC 2.0) license, while other models in the series remain proprietary. This selective open-source release of our 7B model aims to support the scientific community in tackling advanced mathematical challenges that require sophisticated multi-step logical reasoning, while maintaining the competitive advantage of our larger models.

Requirements
transformers>=4.40.0
is required for SPEC-MATH models. We recommend using the latest version. For detailed information about GPU memory requirements and throughput specifications.
SPEC-MATH-7B is our base model optimized for completion tasks and few-shot inference, making it an ideal foundation for further fine-tuning.
